Location Option

Eagle Point, Lake Davis, CA

Eagle Point is located on the west side Lake Davis on the Lake Loop Road. It is clearly marked and does not require 4WD. If you get to Camp Five, you have gone too far.

Sign under a tree where the road forks. — The sign for Eagle Point. Turn right off of the Lake Loop Road and take the Eagle Point road down about a mile to the point.

Directions:

From Reno, take Hwy 395 N past North Valleys and the CA Ag station.
Take the Hallelujah Junction Exit, ~ 1 mile past Ag station to Hwy 70 West.
Turn Left (west) onto Hwy 70.
Drive through Beckwourth to the town of Portola
At approximately 23.9 miles (from the turn onto Hwy 70), look for the Ace Hardware Store and a Lake Davis sign on the right (north) side of Main Street and turn right (north)
Turn right (north) onto West Street-immediately after Ace.
West Street becomes Lake Davis Road. Drive 5.0 miles on West Street/Lake Davis Road.
At approximately 5.0 miles, you will see a Y intersection; stay left (straight) and follow signs for Camp 5.
At approximately 0.85 miles, turn right at Eagle Point (there is a small brown sign on right). This is the first right turn after Y junction.
Drive 1.0 miles down Eagle Point Road until you see us. We will park on the right, before the outhouses.
